First post of 2021!

 

Welcome to the first blog post of 2021! Blogging is as you know not my priority but I will always keep my blog since it was blogging I started with and I do enjoy it sometimes. I have been very bad at updating my Instagram as well lately. Or since the summer basically so over 6 months haha! But it has been so dark here (Swedish winters are really really dark. We only get daylight about 3 hours a day and sometimes it's nothing...) and during the winter and fall months, my motivation goes down as well. But now it's a new year and spring and summer are something to look forward to and today it was actually sunny outside which made me feel some hope for the future... 

One thing I look forward to a lot is spring and summer fashion! I prefer spring and summer clothes over winter. I know, it's cozy to wear knitwear and soft sweaters but my heart beats for summer dresses and skirts.

The fall season is definitely here now! It has been so cold here the past days. I have actually started to use my OTK boots. And I think it's time for gloves and hats soon as well. Fall is a beautiful season because of all the colors but I don't like the cold. And I don't like the fact that when fall comes, the winter is not far away. It's also getting really dark outside and it feels like most days are just grey. But I'm trying to stay positive (I know, it doesn't sound like it haha). When it's fall and winter, you can stay inside and do cozy things like baking, watch movies and drink hot chocolate. That I like! 

If you follow me on Instagram, I'm sure you have noticed that I'm no longer blonde. I'm a brunette!!! Still can't believe it haha! My natural hair color is dark/dirty blonde. For some years now I have done lighter blonde highlights. But this time I wanted a big change so I went brunette! But it's not a really dark color and there are some highlights in it as well. But I love the color and I think it suits me very well. I think I will stay brunette for a while now. 

Other than that, not much has happened. Oh, I have worked for a year at my current job now. I can't believe how fast this year went?! What happened??!! It's scary how fast the time goes. It feels like it's Monday and Friday all the time but nothing in between. But it's also a good thing because it means I'm having fun. I love my job, every morning before work or the evening before, I feel so happy and grateful because I have the best job and the best colleagues you can ever imagine.  

My new LV bag!! I love it so so much! I'm so glad I bought it. It was worth spending money on for sure!!

Hi lovelies, I hope you're doing well. Fall is really here now and I have of course started to shop fall items. I did a closet clean out last week and now I'm filling it up with new things hehe... You can watch the video here, and please give me thumbs up and a follow as well, that would make me very happy ❤. This fall (or like always haha) I'm into neutral colors and black. I'm trying to shop more mindful and buy things I know I will wear a lot and items in better quality that will last longer. 

 

First of June

Hello June! Now it's definitely summer. It's been +27 degrees celsius today and the sun has been out all day. I was of from work today as well so I could enjoy the beautiful weather. I also went to buy SPF. Believe me, I need it 😂 I have very fair skin and I get sun burned so easily. 

I don't have a photo from today because I have been on the balcony most of the day, but sharing some recent photos from my Instagram instead. Happy Monday! 

Summer is coming

It finally feels like the summer is on its way! I´m so happy about it. Summer is my favorite season and time of the year. Unfortunately, the summer is very short in Sweden. It's only about 3 months... This is an outfit I wore a couple of weeks ago actually. We had some days in May that was warm which was really nice. Today when I'm writing this post, it's 20 degrees celsius outside and the sun is shining. I have been doing some tanning on the balcony but needed a little break from the sun.

A Day in February

Hi lovelies! Just wanted to share some photos from yesterday. I know that I don't post a lot but I want to get better on that and hopefully things will get better when our kitchen is done. Our apartment is still a mess so I can't take any photos at home and outside it's always so dark and grey...

But yesterday was actually a beautiful day! Very cold but sunny and we even got some snow in the evening. I'm not happy about that though because I don't like snow. 

We had crepes for lunch and it was delicious! I had a halloumi and tomato crepe, so tasty! 

And then we shared a crepe filled with nutella, banana and ice cream on top. 😍

Nya möbler till lägenheten

Är inne i ett "göra om och renoveringsmode" just nu. Köksrenoveringen håller vi fortfarande på med. Det är min pappa som gör det och han kan ju bara på helgerna och ibland bara en av dagarna, så därför tar det lite tid. Men det går sakta men säkert framåt, och jag är så glad att jag har en pappa som kan sånt här! 

Men nu vill jag göra om annat också. Jag har nog inte visat några helhetsbilder på hur det ser ut överallt i lägenheten för det har hela tiden renoverats någonstans. Men jag vill i alla fall köpa ett nytt skrivbord. Vi har ju skrivbordet i vardagsrummet (vi bor i en 2a) och just nu ser det stökigt ut, så vill ha ett nytt skrivbord som det nedan, då kan vi ställa skrivaren under bordet och få undan den. Och den rosa stolen skulle passa fint till. Kevin vill dock behålla den vanliga skrivbordsstolen med hjul på, men vi får se... Hehe. 

Sen så vill jag köpa en ny bokhylla, också till vardagsrummet. Tycker det är så fint med vitrinskåp och glasdörrar. Plus att den här bokhyllan är lite större än den vi har nu, och vi behöver mer förvaring.

Och till sist vill jag köpa nya garderober. Layouten i sovrummet är inte optimal just nu. Mina kläder hänger i mini walk in closeten som är connectad till sovrummet, men Kevin har sina kläder i en byrå i sovrummet. Men jag vill ta bort byrån och sätta dit såna här garderober som är bara 35 cm djupa istället och ställa dom på ett annat ställe och flytta om lite. Kommer bli mycket bättre plats i sovrummet då. Jag ska visa före och efter bilder när allt är klart men det kommer ta några månader. Först ska köket bli klart och det tar nog minst 3 veckor till. Så blir färdigmat ett tag till. Ikväll ska vi prova färdiga pannkakor, vi får se hur det smakar.

Kitchen Renovation Progress Photos

Right after Christmas, we started to renovate our kitchen, finally!! I have been waiting for this for so long now! I can't wait to have a brand new beautiful kitchen. Our old kitchen was just that, old haha! It was from 1955/56 when the house was built and I did not like it at all. Some people like that style, but I don't. And it was not very good planned either. But soon we will have a new kitchen and I'm so happy!

Our current living room situation... Everything from our kitchen we have moved into our living room in boxes etc. And the oven is there too. We can't use it but we are going to sell it later so that's why we still have it.

This is how the kitchen looks right now. It's going forward! And in about an hour my dad will come here and put the new floor in and then we can continue with the kitchen cabinets. 

Yesterday's Outfit

I'm so happy that I now have a job where I can wear whatever I want, my own clothes. This was my outfit yesterday and I think it was the perfect mix of cozy and dressed up. In all of my previous jobs, I had to wear a uniform or follow a specific dress code, but now I can finally wear whatever I want and I love it so much. I have missed my clothes haha! Before, I only wore my own clothes and outfits two days a week, and I kind of lost energy to care to dress up. But I'm feeling that I'm getting my style back on track now and I'm constantly looking at clothes and things to buy because I'm maybe a little bit of a shopaholic... 

It is Christmas Eve tomorrow (in Sweden we celebrate 24th)! I'm going home to my parents to celebrate with my family and Kevin is going to celebrate with this family. I don't really have any Christmas feelings though, maybe because it's not snow. But I love eating Christmas pastries and candy!!

I did eyelash extensions!

I'm so happy because I have done eyelash extensions! It's my first time trying it and I'm loving it. It's so nice to not have to apply mascara. Lately, I have been so sick of it. It takes time and one eye always looks better than the other one, and I think I have shorter lashes on one eye. I hate mascara. And when I remove mascara my eyes get so red and I start to cry, I think my eyes are quite sensitive. So it's so nice to not have to think of that now. I wake up and I'm basically done, so nice! And it's great that I did them now so they will still look good on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. In about three weeks I will have to have a top-up. I did single eyelashes since it looks more natural. I did my eyelashes here so if you live in Uppsala or nearby, I highly recommend her (and she also had the cutest dog ever)! ♡

The Nutcracker at The Royal Opera

I and my friend went to the opera yesterday to see The Nutcracker. It was our first time at the opera and we were so amazed! It was so incredibly beautiful. Both the building and the ballet. The dancers were so good and I did not want it to end. I definitely want to see more ballet at the opera now. And I kind of want to start dancing myself haha! I did some ballet when I was around 14 because I had dancing in school so that was included, and I really loved it. But outside school, I trained gymnastics so I had no time for ballet. But I think it's so beautiful!

Flower Bouquet And Thoughts About School...

How gorgeous are those flowers?? Kevin got them on his birthday from his family and they are so beautiful. And I borrowed them for some photos hehe... of course. They are standing in our living room right now and I just can't stop looking at them. 

This week I'm working a little and studying for my test which is next week on Thursday. I have to admit that I hate to study. I really don't miss school and I'm so happy that I study from home because that makes it a little bit easier because I feel comfortable at home. But I don't think I will ever go back to a "real school" like uni, where you have to go every day. Most of my friends are going to uni and it feels like according to society, you should go to uni, but it's not for everyone. It's not for me. Everyone is different. But I'm so happy for my friend who is one of my best friends because she just got into MED SCHOOL which is sooooo cool! I'm so happy and proud of her. She really deserves it. ♡♡♡

Hi lovelies! Today I want to share with you my favorite lipstick shades from Mac. I recently bought my ever first Mac lipstick, yes you heard it right, and I love it! I want more of them now haha! I wanted a nude/beige/pink ish lipstick and the sales associate recommended the color 810 fleshpot and it's the most perfect color ever. I have been looking at more lipsticks now and these below are the ones I like the most.

Nu tänkte jag prova något nytt och annorlunda, att skriva på svenska! Jag har alltid skrivit på engelska och jag tycker om det, men det blir inte riktigt lika personligt. Jag skulle säga att jag är bra på engelska men har kanske inte det största ordförrådet och beskriva känslor osv på engelska kan vara svårt ibland. Jag har tänkt att jag ska skriva på engelska också men kanske en kortare sammanfattning eller så, eller skriva vissa inlägg på svenska och en del på engelska. På instagram kommer jag dock alltid skriva på engelska då dom flesta av mina följare inte förstår svenska. 

Igår var jag ledig, och min pojkvän så vi passade på att handla. Vi bor ju i stan och har ingen bil så alltid bra när vi kan handla tillsammans så blir inte cykeln överfull av kassar haha! Jag var också till gymmet och gick på ett pass. Jag tränar på Friskis och föredrar att gå på pass framför att vara i gymmet. Tycker det är skönt när någon annan visar vad man ska göra och så följer man efter och behöver inte tänka på något. Sen var ju tanken att jag skulle plugga men blev inte så... Jag installerade min nya blog design som jag är så nöjd med, och sen kom en kompis till oss och vi lagade middag, fikade och kollade på Bonde Söker Fru, den här säsongen är så spännande tycker jag. Så blev ingen tid över för plugg. Och inte idag heller för har jobbat hela dagen och är så trött. Tror det är det mörka tråkiga vädret som gör det också. Och imorgon ska jag också jobba, men jaja. Får ta nya tag nästa vecka helt enkelt.
