Hi there and welcome to today's blog post! I'm doing my best to update my blog three times a week and so far it's going well!
I'm a foundation lover and I don't know how many foundations I have... And I just keep buying more and more. I should probably do an "All My Foundations" kind of post sometime, but not today. Today it's about the thing you apply the foundation with.
Right now, I have four different brushes and tools I apply my foundation with and they all have their specific "area". I also want to say that I'm not a makeup expert so everything I write is based on my thoughts and how I like to use them.
Real Techniques Buffing Brush
This brush is extremely good if you want an airbrushed finish to your foundation! I use this brush for medium coverage foundations that are easy to blend. And the brush is so soft!!
The Oval Brush
This brush has been a favorite of mine since I bought it around a year ago. The brush is really compact and I find this one perfect for blending out high coverage, thick foundations that dry very fast (Rimmel Stay Matte Mousse for example). It's very easy to use and gives a smooth finish.
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
This brush works well with every foundation. And you can blend in concealer with it too and apply powder! If I had to choose only one makeup brush, I would definitely pick this one!
The Original Beauty Blender
I wasn't a big fan of this in the beginning but now I have started to like it! I find the beauty blender really good when you want a high coverage and build up your foundation. It doesn't leave your foundation cakey at all and your face will look really smooth and soft.
